Smoking will kill you. Eventually.
Kind of sounds like my hubby who, when someone dies instantly attributes it to smoking or drinking. LOL!
Drudge had a picture of a 100 year old woman lighting a cigarette from her birthday cake candles. Should have bookmarked it.
I don't think anybody makes it to 100 without picking up a few distinct odors.
And these were real men, not the asthmatic, tofu gobbling, spandex dorks who are the culture heros today.
When asked in his late 90s if his doctor knew he still smoked, George Burns said, “No ... he’s dead.’’
“It must be. I remember George Burns used to joke that “They say cigars are habit-forming. Well, I’ve been smoking six a day for the last 65 years and I haven’t picked up the habit yet.”
...he also was once asked, “what do your Doctor’s say about all those cigars and martinis”? George says “My Doctors are all dead”.
any relation to george burns?
yEAH...
My grandmother was eating a fried fatback sandwich and a glass of buttermilk with a dip of snuff in her mouth at 97. She smoked Camel nonfilters for 30 years.
I’m gonna smoke me some good cigars this weekend. Got a card game at my house after we fry up a bunch of stripers that my buddy caught.

I’ve heard stories about Charles Spurgeon and his love of cigars. My favorite quote attributed to him about his cigar smoking:
Spurgeon: I’ll quit cigars if it becomes excessive.
Parishioner: What’s excessive?
Spurgeon: Two cigars at a time.
There are those genetically gifted who will beat the odds, but most won’t. Dad died at 52 of a massive heart attack after smoking a pack or two per day of Lucky Strike non-filter for about 40 years.

HEAR HEAR!!
I saw one of those in the grocery store yesterday. Right purdy fella.... fancy.
He took out some wet wipes and wiped off the shopping cart before he touched it and headed straight for the organic food section.
....little female man.
My birthday is next week. I sent an email to family members with 10 items I would like. 7 of them were links to cigars.
I love it. How old was Churchill when he died? 94?
Someone should E-Mail “CIGAR DAVE” (a national show about 3 politically incorrect items — cigars, booze and females!)
Not only is he 100 years old, he’s obviously enjoying it.
