Myth of Consensus Explodes: APS Opens Debate On Global Warming

The American Physical Society, an organization representing nearly 10,000 physicists, has reversed its stance on climate change and is now proclaiming that many of its members disbelieve in human-induced global warming. The APS is also sponsoring public debate on the validity of global warming science. The leadership of the society had previously called the evidence for global warming "incontrovertible."

This has been a long time coming. Perhaps we now have passed a tipping point on the Global Warming Hoax.

I have believed for a long time that allowing the publication of the scientific arguments on both sides of the AGW issue would result in a rejection of the Al Gore man-made global warming thesis. I think the Al Gore camp has also realized this and have, as a result, poured a major part of their propaganda campaign into the idea of a scientific consensus on the subject. That consensus never existed.

This is the approach taken by the RAND Corp. My guess is they don’t want to miss out on the $$$, like so many others.
