Some of the comments made me chuckle. Things that concern me though:

—People already “reporting” incidents of perceived non-compliance to the Obama campaign. Low level activity already. What does behavior like this already demonstrate? Is this person bucking for a new position on the Obama national police?

—People being upset by the comparison, yet they do the same thing to Bush. And where is Bush attacking them for libel? Obama needs to get a thicker skin if he understands he must put up with a lot of stuff as President. Stuff that comes from inside the country and outside too.

—The incessant attempts to limit what people say, think, or feel by Obamites.

I don't think they themselves understand that they are perpetuating the image they are trying to deflect. While I don't see Obama as another Hitler, I do see much of his rhetoric as inflammatory fascism with a smiley face. The tactics being used by the Obamites are the beginnings of this cultural police state and is worrisome.

His rise is much more like Mussolini than Hitler. Obama has no need to organize the militant faction of the party, he already knows it organizes itself around him from his community experience. Part of this election is fascinating to watch. I have often wondered how whole countries could fall to such men as Mussolini or Hitler, etc. Here I see it trying to happen right in front of me, down to real life examples of people 'reporting' others to the Obama campaign thought police. A form of intimidation. I still can't understand how people so willing surrender to such ideologies and rhetoric without blinking an eye?

Part of the election is frightening. I think this is the first time that I can say the election is not Free. People who see Obama's policies as dangerous and disagree with him on the issues are facing intimidation from the Obamites. There is a distinct difficulty in trying to discuss issues, debate topics, and compare positions of the two candidates.
