U.S. Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama on Wednesday said he'd like the world free of nuclear weapons and pledged to fight emerging threats posed by biological and cyber-terrorism.

The Senator from Illinois made the remarks at a roundtable discussion on national security in West Lafayette, Ind.

I have some news for you, Barack...once the genie is out of the bottle, you better be sure as hell it remains YOUR genie. Nukes are not going away...not acknowledging that and making constructive comments based on that is juvenile. The answer is controlling proliferation, verification and acceptable levels based on the doctrine of mutually assured self destruction (for countries not interested in dying and no nukes for countries where being a martyr is de riguerre).
