The author of the piece I excerpted in post #342, is the one who authored the comment about qualifications, and his name is David French. If he favors a flat tax, it is mere coincidence that he agrees with me. My real name is TAdams and while the author and I may have high IQ's in common (well I know mine is : )), I unfortunately, do not share the author's most excellent credential's.

It is most difficult to NEVER speak ill of another Republican Zevon, but our "friends" seem to take it to levels yet unparalleled. Even the posters on DU and Daily KOS know better than to speak that way about their own. I agree with you.

I hear you. Especially during the primaries when we all feel strongly about our candidates the discussion can easily become heated. I think it is one thing to criticize policies but quite another thing to name call. People doing opposition research do monitor sites like this one and I just think some posters make this site look very bad.
