Makes you wonder what else doctors do to you when you’re out, doesn’t it?
I have a physician friend who was not getting surgery that would have been very beneficial, and I couldn't understand why she put it off.
When I asked, she told me, "Remember, I went to med school...I know what goes on..."
The OR staff poke fun at the unwitting patient and say all kinds of awful, nasty things. You can't chalk it up to gallows humor either.
