Why Israel will strike Iran ... and soon! Iran is currently trying to start their nuclear power plant in Bushehr by the autumn according to the Russian nuclear agency chief Sergei Kiriyenko. If this reactor is online and running...then Israel will not be able to destroy it without causing a huge fallout. In 1981, when Begin destroyed the reactor in Iraq -- his reasoning to Ronald Reagan (according to Ronald Reagan Diaries) was the fact it needed to be destroyed before they received plutonium from the French. Begin was concerned of a radiation being spread across into Baghdad. So the key to when Israel will strike ... is how close are they to starting the reactor in Bushehr.
According to Paul Leventhal of the Nuclear Control Institute, if Iran were to withdraw from the Nonproliferation Treaty and renounce the agreement with Russia, the Bushehr reactor could produce a quarter ton of plutonium per year, which Leventhal says is enough for at least 30 atomic bombs. See also Plutonium from Light Water Reactors as Nuclear Material, Harmon W.Hubbard, April 2003.
This is the timeline to watch!
Until next time,

We may as well assist the Israelis in atacking Iran, as we’ll be blamed for it anyhow, by everyone. With our help and some bunker busters, we should be able to get almost everything. RPVs, B-1s, B-2s, B-52s, F15s, F-16s, Naval Air, cruise missiles, etc ought to do the trick, along with the IDF.

I'm sensing a lack of confidence. Obama is against space weapons, guns, gun shows, nuclear weapons, fissile materials, etc., but I know he's for wind power and solar power and anything that isn't nuclear or petroleum based and Harry Reid says that petroleum makes us sick. Obama can even lower the sea level and make us all start caring for the sick and we can learn new languages like the Europeans. Doesn't that count for something? |

Yup. As we speak a top-ranking US official is on his way to meet with the Iranian nuke negotiator. The West is caving to the mad mullahs in Iran, which will only embolden the muzz more. God help us, for we are not helping ourselves.

Do I need to post the title of the news article? If you want to change the name of the title, perhaps a more appropriate title would be — Why and When Israel will Strike Iran?

Let me explain the last month and a half politically in Israel. PM Olmert has been under a cloud of suspicion for months and there's been several times when a non-confidence vote in the gov't could have brought early elections in Nov. For example, two weeks ago, the Defense Minister and Former PM Ehud Barak saved the Olmert gov't -- and he was slammed in the Israeli media. Why does he save Olmert? The most logical reason is the fact that he's the Defense Minister and he knows there's a war coming! You don't want to be in a transition government during a war!
The other day -- a huge scandal came out -- PM Olmert allegedly received gifts from non-profits to come and speak in the U.S. But he received gifts covering all his expenses from several non-profits -- so that he was actually profiting thousands of dollars! This is huge and what happens in the Israeli press? Nothing! None of the ministers are saying anything about it! So you have to read between the lines -- why?
Even Benjamin Netanyahu isn't saying anything -- that's huge because he has the most to gain with a political attack against Olmert. But Bibi has enough contacts in the military to know when to keep his mouth shut!
What's the most dangerous man in the world? A politician that has NOTHING to lose! That's what your are seeing right now in Israel.

As we speak a top-ranking US official is on his way to meet with the Iranian nuke negotiator. A throw-away gesture to obama and the Eurocrats to indicate that we are willing to negotiate.
After that, the Bombs drop.

I believe you’re correct. He’s letting them (Iran) know this is their last chance.

They must know something that we don't already know.
That's all I need to hear from the Pentagon to know, that now is the time to act instead of tippy toe through the tulips with Iran.
To: MississippiMan
That’s why we have a man talking to Iran right now.
Nothing will come of it, but at least Bush will be able to say, “We tried”.
It’s just political posturing.
