That was sarcasm.

In other words, “Want to living in a cave, vote Democrat”.

Good post.

Do you or any other Freeper have any links which compare the Democrat and Republican history on energy before 2005?

I don’t have any problem with articles like this one, but I think they need this to be put in everyday language. I listened to George Bush give a fairly decent news conference yesterday on this subject, and John McCain and his minions speak out just as much.

I don’t think they’ve really nailed the rhetoric yet. “When demand exceeds supply” is not an argument; it’s a line in an economics text.

You’ve got more people wanting to buy oil than we’ve got oil. We’ve got more buyers than we’ve got oil getting pumped. And here we’ve got Congress saying that we’ve got all this oil here in the ground, but you are not allowed to pump it out.

Even those don’t nail it.

IMHO, the Democrats can only find opportunity in their fellow Americans’ misery....now if only the GOP had ‘nads enough to beat them silly with this stuff!!

Your right Oil will bring back the Senate, House and White House for the GOP if they just hammmered the Dems on oil prices for the until November.

Exactly. For most people, their human psyche responds best not to intellectual arguments but visceral Eureka! moments...

It's The Economy, Stupid!

Are you better off than you were four years ago?

There you go again!

Bump to you!

I've noticed what appears to be a few ...characters...lately on the boards.

I currently have one over on an Ohio thread about good things a GOP senator is pushing to get done. Instead of encouragement to me or directly to the senator...

they spew just lame sarcasm.

Best off to just ignore them and rest comfortably in that we take our civic responsibility seriously. Doing what we can with the skills we have.

Thank you, that’s exactly it. Folks that vote for Democrats have to be challenged to live just as elected Democrats propose. 50% of the gasoline burned in this nation is by Democrat supporters. That would cut demand in half, lower greenhouse gases, cause less global warming and lower prices. What a wonderful world it would be.

I didn't realize you were doing sarcasm. It looked authentic. You're good at it!
