Yesterday's "global cooler" is today's "global warmer" and Andrew Bolt, an influential Australian writer, is in love with the power of skepticism.
He is not alone. Indeed, millions of Brits are turning away from Al Gore's hysterical exclamation marks, to embrace inconvenient question marks.
In his thought-provoking book The Best of Andrew Bolt - Still Not Sorry, the Herald-Sun's columnist raises some interesting points too that - I for one - share:
On the subject of the "global warming" hysteria? Page 102: "Facts no longer matter. Superstition rules." On the subject of Islamofascism? Page 224: "It is the curse of the thinking classes - to imagine they can reason even the bloodiest mass murderer into peace."
Clearly, we need to be chasing terrorists, as opposed to evil "global warming" skeptics.
In many ways, though, the Left's climate battles are old red herrings, and their prophets are distracting patriots from America's real security issues. So, it is telling that Obama honors An Inconvenient Truth's message, but despises wars against Jihad-friendly regimes. And, it is revealing that Jimmy Carter, is so soft on terrorists, but so very mean to Republicans.
Yet step back in time to September, 1979. There, you will see some really cool sideburns, and flares, no doubt. But turn your head, and you'll also see President Carter signing the National Climate Program Act, in order to beat "global cooling" and predict apocalyptic catastrophes. Ignore Iran.
Amazing? No. Just enter my time machine below and you will see how secular evangelicals package apocalyptic messages to promote their faith...

The DNC in Denver is going to be a calvacade of Green hysteria featuring Global Warming and Big Oil.
FEAR MONGERING - Climate hysteria, the Gore group surely succedded in scaring us all, galvanizing many of the masses to his camp.
Andrew Bolt sounds great . . . have to get the book!
If ANYONE in the DNC REALLY believed in human caused Global Warming they would NOT go to Denver.... They wouldn’t heat up the skies by flying there. They don’t believe it one bit. Otherwise they would stay home and CONSERVE energy!
