What scares me about a public service is the possibility that far left wackos might show up to try and disrupt it.”
yes, and I pray that won’t happen. At least we can be assured that there will be AMPLE security (particularly with GW and Laura there!!) to keep any of that riff-raff at quite a distance.
Those freaks have a way of acting all normal to get inside the security perimeter, then they pull their garbage once the event starts.
Both Tony Snow and Laura Ingraham were/are Catholic converts.
A class act.”
Of the highest order!!! Bless Tony Snow’s soul, and much love to his wife Jill and three beautiful children. We’ll miss him SO much, his style, grace, humor, and extraordinary kindness.
Tony, we hardly knew ‘ye.
If Code Pink tries to “slip in” and disrupt Tony’s
funeral, I guarantee it will be their last slip up!
TAKE DOWN!
Oh please no.......that can NOT happen.
I hate to say it, but I hope Code Pink scumbags stay away.
I wouldn’t put it past those sick minds to try something stupid.
I thought the same thing. But hopefully with the secret service there, they will not be able to pull their normal antics.
Just to let you know:
I called Alexandria PD
Washington DC PD
Secretl Service
Every time I was “kicked upstairs” to a senior officer and was treated with the BEST civility.
I don’t think we’ll have to worry about miscreants. The police know this man...and he is covered.
Good to know!
And your point is...!?
There’s this devious side of me that actually
would like to see CP try something ... but
not at Tony’s funeral.
I wonder if “Beats Workin’” will play at his
funeral?
from the earlier thread it seems the Westboro folks will show up at Christ Episcopal Church in Alexandria, VA ... don’t anyone let them know the change of venue!
"Bring it on!" may be not have been the best way to put it. I don't WANT this to happen. My point is there would be no better illustration of the left's inherent belief that the intention justifies by-any-means-necessary. Even if that means disrupting a funeral service.
I’m so glad this is where it’s going to be held. The Basilica is incredibly beautiful. How fitting for Tony.
That is a thoughtful gesture I just hope a bunch code pink types don’t show up.
I’m not sure if there will be time, since it’s a funeral mass. But I wouldn’t be surprised if they played a memorial gig or if there were some kind of memorial concert with a bunch of music friends.

Just curious, how big is this place? How many people can it seat?
