I believe Just Lori was referring to the Kandahar prison break that occurred on June 26, 2008. More than 1000 prinsoners, including 400 Taliban escaped when a suicide bomber blew open the gates to the prison.
Conveniently it was reported by the media not in Mazar-i-Sharif but in Kandahar...

Second, where the hell did you get the idea the Johnny Walker Lind had anything to do with his death? Johnny was a poor grunt who was never fully trusted. He was a low level fighter, nothing more.
I've read many accounts of Mr Lind, but I'm not sure I've read anything you've posted.
I'm not a big Johnny fan, but let's not dump all the worlds problems on him.
He is the scum on this earth and worse than I can describe, but he is not responsible for everything bad that happened in Afghanistan. This is an example where you shouldn't believe everything you hear about someone and understand, there are things that you will never see.
