Obama’s children ‘interview’ on CNN unReliable Souces, CNN seeming trying to portray trying to say what a great ‘family man’ Obama is, when someone subjects children to ‘the White Nationalist Movement’ it’s just as bad influence as taking them to Rev Wrights church, just see what ABC news says,

Known as “Prussian Blue” — a nod to their German heritage and bright blue eyes — the girls from Bakersfield, Calif., have been performing songs about white nationalism before all-white crowds since they were nine.
“We’re proud of being white, we want to keep being white,” said Lynx. “We want our people to stay white ... we don’t want to just be, you know, a big muddle. We just want to preserve our race.”
Lynx and Lamb have been nurtured on racist beliefs since birth by their mother April. “They need to have the background to understand why certain things are happening,” said April, a stay-at-home mom who no longer lives with the twins’ father. “I’m going to give them, give them my opinion just like any, any parent would.”
I have not been on the Sunday thread in a long time. Sunday is just another work day over here. I don’t have a lot of Free(p) time on my hands. :)
Good point
I guess.
Many kids of that age ignore much what their parents say especially politically hanging on to every word their professor or teacher may impact. Its the way of the world unfortunately.
The fact they were in the car and it was coming over the radio probably made him pay more attention than if Juan had mentioned it before. I am certain Juan probably had but the son probably was not listening.
I was just telling my mother, yesterday the weekend Friends were in awe...here was Tony, a real journalist (writer, reporter, columnist, commentator), talk show host, Press Secretary, family man, friend, musician, man of faith, supporter of community causes, etc. Like Rush said, he wasn’t in the media for the power or glory.
lol
Bill was obviously close to him and I got the impression wanted a more down key and private remembrance of the man and in some ways I think this affected the show and there was not as much of the remembrance to Tony as could have been.
He mentioned the fact that he and others at FNC were aware over the last few weeks how ill Tony was and because of this did not even mention him I think at present maybe Bill still was not ready to do so.
The best bits of Bill's show IMHO were when he did refer to personal bits about Tony helping others and examples of Tony's character.
Greta's show I felt was more the public side of Tony and how his character shone in this.
I’m watching Blitzer today, actually, I have satellite and because of gov regulation, local channels are extra, so I’m stuck with Blitz...
Levin is good!
Juan addressed this on FNS - he said he never talked politics with his son.
I never connected the dots before that Bob Beckel’s brother was actor Graham Beckel, whom I remember as law student Ford, in the 1973 original “The Paper Chase”
[Yes I agree I think Colmes is more for media effect and to please the producer than Beckel. Beckel I think is more what he believes or just to put himself in the limelight. ]
I believe Beckel has moderated a bit. He has taken some swipes at some dem positions but very sideways. He has a good sense of humor where Colmes is a brick with receding hair.
I was glad to see VP Cheney looking good. There’s still far too many asses for him to kick down in D.C., both literally and figuratively in his last 7 months or so.
Going home in 4 weeks, will be there until January then coming back for another year.
It had been a remarkable experience serving with some extraordinary individuals.
