The discovery of this new habitat is all the more surprising, since such hard corals have long been considered vulnerable to chemical contamination and oily discharges from oil wells and susceptible to being smothered by the discharges of sediment from the surface, when muds and cuttings are returned to the waters.

I know this article isn't new, but I felt it important to be posted. I searched by the title, didn't see it posted at all. And even if it had been posted in the past, I thought it needed to be revisited.

Just the other day, I saw some news report on liberal media lamenting how the world's coral reefs are dying. I find this ironic considering how offshore oil platforms serve as dual purpose artificial reefs. Of course, that wasn't mentioned in the propaganda piece.

By not supporting off shore drilling, it seems to me that liberal media is cutting off their noses to spite their faces.

One more lie the “scientists” have been exploiting. This is what happens when scientists become political. So far we have found that over half of science is junk.

Some of the best diving in the Gulf are the oil rigs offshore.
