My wife died of colon cancer at 45. For 8 years, her doctor told her she had Irritable Bowel Syndrome. By the time they caught it, it was a full blown level 4 cancer. Prayers for Tony’s family, and please everyone get a second opinion with something like this.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ve heard other stories about colon cancer and the docs who weren’t the best at their medical care. My grandmother was diagnosed in the 70s when it was almost impossible to do anything. It had progressed so that treatment was not an option.
