I am so sorry you had to go through that. Is there anything your Dad could have done differently in his time with you before he died that would have made it easier for you?

That’s so kind of you. ((hugs)) I can’t imagine what it would be. He worked so hard .. so many long hours ... to provide for we 3 kids. Because of that, we really had pretty rare 1-on-1 time with him. It is absolutely the life-altering event of my life .. no doubt about it. Everything changed dramatically thereafter. And the times then were very very different. I really could write a book .... ;)
