Stanley Ann Dunham, it has recently come to light, dropped in to visit her best friend on Mercer Island three weeks after giving birth to little Barry.

This “friend” stated in an interview that Stanley Ann had come down to Mercer Island (located across Puget Sound from Seattle) all the way from Vancouver, British Columbia, in Canada.

In 1961 direct flights between Vancouver B.C. and Hawaii had just begun. Infants were not allowed on board. If Dunham had left Hawaii for British Columbia it had to have been before delivery of her baby. And as she was only 18 years old, someone had to pay her way.

Barack Hussein Obama Sr., being from Kenya, was a British citizen, as Kenya was part of the British protectorate. Here I enter a purely speculative area - was their baby born in Vancouver as a British citizen? What is going through an 18-year old girl’s head that would drive her to go to Canada while pregnant?

We know she hated America, was a communist as young teenager, and attracted to men who were NOT American. It is not a stretch to believe she did not want her son to be an American either.

Too bad Barbara Ann Dunham, the Senator’s mother, is being held incommunicado in Hawaii (I am beginning to suspect it may not be all voluntary.) She has all the answers and it looks as though Senator Obama is a very, great scam artist.

So is his maternal grandmother still alive? I had always been under the assumption that she was deceased. I thuoght we would have heard from her if she was alive. Barack’s always seemed to mention her in past tense. If she is alive, why do we never hear from her or see pictures of Barack with her? Is the grandfather alive too?

Madelyn Lee Payne Dunham is Obama's grandmother. She is 86 years old. His mother is deceased.

Fascinating stuff--perhaps the scam artist is not Obama himself but rather his handlers or backers.

This would make a fantastic novel even if it weren't true. Then we could have "mom" escape from her watchers and post to FR and...the rest would be history. :-)

It only takes a week or ten days to travel by ship from Hawaii to Vancouver and sailing was probable cheaper than flying back in 1961. The probably allowed infants aboard too.

If infants were not allowed on board the long-distance jet flights of 1961, it would still be possible that Obama was birthed at a stopover, and outside the airport. Possibly then in Vancouver, Mercer Island of points in between. That would explain why Stanley did not yet know how to diaper a baby.

Barbara Ann Dunham is not "the Senator's mother" but rather his grandmother, IIRC.

Senator Obama's mother, ne Stanley Ann Dunham, died of cancer c. 1995.

These people need to come forth and give some testimony on U-tube...

Obama's mother died in 1995. The grandmother is sequestered and NOT giving interviews...in Hawaii...
