Back off John McCain Vanity, but it just needs saying...

Stop sending me stuff.

It's because of your "maverick" behavior that we are in the condition we are in. You stabbed a great President in the back on numerous occassions. You, and the gang of 14 rendered our congressional majority into a bunch of eunuchs, singing soprano for the media and the beltway crowd.

I'll probably be forced to vote for you, given the alternatives, however, just barely and only because you may not totally screw us on judges.

Meanwhile, leave me alone.

Yeah, well, I just know that not to vote for him is, objectively, a vote for Soros and Marxism and a clean sweep with judges.

The Gang of 14 was a good thing, it got most of the president’s nominees confirmed, which is a lot better than none, and it preserved the filibuster for judicial nominees, which Republicans may very well be quite thankful for starting in about 6 months.

No it isn't. Besides, a vote FOR McLame isn't much different than that especially with "the judges."

-— YOU might vote for McLame, but I sure as hell won’t. -—

I think old rev. Huckabee is what split the vote. He was going to get the Christian right vote just because he’s got “rev.” before his name. He had about zero chance of winning.

This allowed McCain to sneak in.

If the party was focused on McCain vs Mitt, McCain wouldn’t be the nominee.

If the party was focused on Fred Thompson vs. McCain, McCain wouldn’t be the nominee.

If the party was focused on Duncan Hunter vs. McCain, McCain wouldn’t be the nominee.

If the party was focused on Rudy Giuliani vs. McCain, McCain wouldn’t be the nominee.

I believe everyone of these guys would have won a head-to-head challenge vs. McCain.

In the end, we got screwed.

You really believe that, if the 'Pubbies muster the courage to mount a judicial filibuster, Harry Reid & Co. won't immediately exercise the "nuclear option"?

All the Gang of 14 preserved was McCain's ego.

John...is that you ???

What's with the ad hominem ? Maybe I'm wrong on gang of fourteen, but in order for that to be true it would require a stone factory be installed in the republican cloak room, cuz, in my observation, the only ones who block judges are the dims. Our guys are too busy trying to be popular to be effective.

But,then, I may very well be an idiot.

I read somewhere today that Barr is polling ten percent in multiple states and 8% nationally.

I'll keep monitoring Barr from a distance while I wait-and-see who McCain picks as his VP before making my final decision. So help me if it's Lieberman or Michael Bloomberg....

McCain won the nomination winning these hopelessly liberal states like New York, New Jersey, California, Massachusetts, etc.

The republican party should strip these leftist no-hoper-states-for-the-republicans of all their delegates, and let red states and states that the republican party COULD win pick the nominee.

What are they going to do? Keep voting democrat?

You had me at “Stop sending me stuff”.

I finally wrote back to them asking them to cease & desist. They stepped it up - even sending me dun notices for failing to “renew my membership”.

I have a collection of metal knock-out plates that weigh nearly a half-pound apiece. they neatly fit into their postage-paid return envelopes. I started sending them back as my “contribution”. I have no idea what the final postage costs but I figure as long as they can afford to send me the envelopes the least I can do is “recycle”...;’}

All you guys saying “I’ll never vote for McCain” are the same people who let Bill Clinton win two terms in office, and Jimmy Carter one. Obama would be like Carter × Clinton.
We just cannot afford that right now.

So when I see someone like you come along an inciting that kind of stuff here, I take it as a traitorous threat to my country. Many of us take this election and its consequences pretty seriously. Perhaps it’s about time you did too.

I don’t care if you think McCain has been an imperfect Republican. He has a true love for his country and will not oversee the collapse of Iraq or the destruction of Israel. Obama is salivating at the prospect of both.

ahem....we actually agree, if you read the part where “I’ll probably be forced to vote for you”.....doesn’t mean I have to like it, or get messages from him as if he actually gave a rip about what conservatives think.
