I think people in a position of public trust should get their sentences automatically doubled (or more.)

Law enforcement, judicial workers, teachers, medical professionals, emergency workers, they all have an assumed priviledge to be close to people in a personal way, emotionally if not physically. All the more evil if they abuse that.

I hate how sex offenders, especially those against children seem to get the lightest sentencing in proportion to the amount of damage they're done, potentially. Of course most judges catching these cases seem to be liberal "lets be kind to this offender" types.. It makes me CRAZY.

Sigh. And by saying she will be in a facility where sex offenders are "treated".. that's to say she will be harbored and protected from the kind of justice a prison full of pissed off mothers would deal to her.

Her lawyer said unexplained emotional problems caused her to commit the crimes.

Yes, it's hard to explain how upset she was that she actually GOT CAUGHT.

Yeah, older women have needs too... (joking). The problem we have is a lack of boundaries in today’s society. With the loss of morality and cultural taboos has come great moral confusion. Chaos is the baby thrown out with the bathwater returning the offspring of a generation that refused to grow up. It will take more than a condom on a cucumber to fix this mess.
