Canola?! Hell no! Grapeseed oil or Rice Bran oil. Canola oil is actually rapeseed oil, which is poisonous until it’s over-processed and made into Canola oil.
If you’re wary of canola oil (yes I know it’s rapeseed oil renamed for the US consumer market) then corn oil is an adequate substitute.
