We previously reported that Barack Obama’s user site, my.barackobama.com (aka MyBO) is under the editorial control of Obama’s staff. Moderators and administrators can and do decide what content is acceptable. They can and do delete content and terminate accounts for “objectionable” and “disrespectful” content. They have, however, failed to act on at least one report of libelous content–a false accusation of criminal activity that is directed at an individual or corporate “person.” As of today (July 9), the libelous material is still present despite being reported to the administrators yesterday morning (July 8).

In other words, as of today, the Obama campaign is knowingly hosting libelous material at MyBO.
This is far from the only libelous entry at my.barackobama.com. Another is directed at a public figure that we actually dislike, but it accuses him/her of felonies for which he/she has not even been indicted, let alone convicted. While it is harder to libel a public figure than a private citizen, it is not impossible. We have also reported this entry to the administrators. We have not posted the screen shot because it names the victim of the defamation.
These are but two of the most egregious example of the libelous material (consisting primarily if not exclusively of false accusations of crimes, which are automatically libel, against identifiable individual or corporate persons) that pervades Barack Obama’s official campaign site.

On a lighter note...who’s the stupid jackass that names his website MyBO? If you’ve got bo, go bathe you pig.
Email the snapshots to OReilly or Hannity and get it a little more exposure. You’ve done too much good work there to just depend on other bloggers to get this to the general public.
I’ve love to see a comparison of the ‘extremists’ who are online supporting John McCain compared to the extremists who are backing Obama. It would be an eye-opening experience for the public to know where all the ‘support’ comes from for the campaigns.
I don’t have time to read through a whole court order. Why not jut post a screenshot of the statement that is libelous?
This is the way the game is played in politics. Libel and slander mean nothing.
I wish Hussar would post the content. I don’t think we want FR publishing links to Obama’s sites. Our visits will be counted by the media as interest from the public. I have already seen fluff news stories about how web site hit counts demonstrate that Obama is more interesting than McCain.

I don’t want to give the libel “legs” by repeating it, even for the purpose of condemnation. Suffice to say that identifiable “persons” (corporate and individual) were falsely accused of crimes, including felonies, for which they have not even been indicted or arrested, let alone convicted.

Sort of like a circus sideshow, including a geek (performer who bites the head off a live chicken), is more interesting than McCain.
A keyword search of barackobama.com with terms like “criminal” and “racketeering” (or “racketeer”) in conjunction with the names of prominent people and organizations will turn up plenty. That was how I found it. Most of the targets are of course on the Left’s usual hate list, but even a leftist was subjected to this kind of defamation.
