I guess we will now be told by some here on FR that the Ramseys hired some one to kill here.
It is sad that the mother had to go to her grave with this suspicion over her. It is sad that John Ramsey has been looked upon as a potential killer of his own child. It is sad that they have no idea on the suspect. Even sadder the prosecution bungled this case like they did from the beginning!
It is sad the family had to go through that, not only the death of their daughter but the years of public scrutiny. It would be remarkable if they could still get the guy, but they will have to do it with 1/1000th of the evidence of the OJ case.
OK this is new to me.
It would be interesting to know what they scraped and how they would know that the DNA found by this method would be the DNA of the perp.

Perhaps if competence had played a role in the investigation they could have done a more thorough job.
Colorado has got to have the biggest law enforcement screwups in the country. They make Reno911 seem like a documentary. I can see why South Park is set there.

Good grief, what took them so long. That poor family has been under suspicion ever since Jon Benet was murdered. I can’t imagine losing a child like that and then be under suspicion for all those years. The stress and sorrow of her death probably contributed a lot to Patsy’s death from cancer.
Unless the Ramseys hired a cross-dressing “maid” or “laundress” which seems unlikely, or unless the people who purchased the house were there to tuck her in bed that night OR unless she wore her PJs to the Christmas gathering the family attended that evening — I'd say the Male DNA in three spots on her PJs which clears all immediate family members (including Patsy [if you're thinking she was a transvestite]) clearly means this family was destroyed for sport on a whim. Go ahead, flame away. We've been there, done that and it SUCKS.
Let’s try and imagine for a moment what could have happened to the Ramsey’s if the father hadn’t been well-to-do and able to bring in high-powered legal representation to fend off the authorities and the media.
And please don’t lump all Colorado police departments together with the Boulder PD. Boulder is Colorado’s equivalent of Berkeley or Madison. The town has been run by uber leftists for many years and law enforcement has been effectively emmasculated. It is no shock to me how badly the investigation has been bungled.
Wasn’t something also found on a basement window frame?
What about that guy in Thailand that they brought back over here a few years ago? At the time they thought he did it. Did that case collapse too?

So sad. This family was apparently repeatedly victimized beyond the violent crime. What has it been, 10 years of suspicion, and they basically get a 20 second correction on one nightly news cast.
