Granting such immunity undermines the constitutional protections Americans trust the Congress to protect. Senator Obama supports a filibuster of this bill, and strongly urges others to do the same...Senator Obama will not be among those voting to end the filibuster.”

Whatever! This was surveillance of overseas terrorist who’s communications crossed through US switches and relays which is 80% of all worldwide communications. No intercepted communication was of individuals on US soil unless a FISA warrant was granted. Whatever President gets elected must still get a FISA warrant for any party in the US.
So, Obama is showing everyone what he meant by “CHANGE”?
Sure, but when Obama wants to expand these programs, I’ll be interested to see which conservatives will be arguing for Obama, which will be flip-flopping, and which will have maintained their positions.
In addition, Surveillance of overseas Terrorist must be done. If not, our Constitutional Rights will be moot if we are nonexistent.
Obama, the candidate whose primary qualification for public office was that he’d been a community organizer on the Southside of Chicago, service that came in lieu of any military commitment.

Depned on how he wants to “expand” it. If it is to catch more terrorists trying to make arrangemnts here in the US from foreign shores, that is one thing. But, if all of a sudden he wants to expand it to surveillance on US citizens on US soil...that would be different.
