LOL the “Recreate 68” crowd will be livid if they don’t get camera time!

They're cutting back even on the hour per night of coverage of the convention. Thirty minutes is plenty. There's nothing interesting any more about major party conventions. Only cable still offers gavel to gavel coverage but all the big speeches are now in primetime. That means one instead of two speakers per night.

...I don’t think we are forced to cover both [conventions] equally,” the network executive said...

Well, there ya go.

Typical for NObama. NObama first, last, and always. The hardship and cost to others of his decisions is of no account to the annointed one.

Obama's PR stunt may backfire on the Democrats by giving them less face time the first three nights of the convention. That's what happens when you put symbolism above substance. It couldn't happen to a less deserving party.

Gee I planned on limiting my viewing of the conventions also.

I don’t plan on watching them at all.

Today Rush was saying that Hillary is still working on getting the nomination. Her underling Terry McCaullife, according to Rush, was the one who convinced Obama to move toward the center, so that the left will get so ticked off at Obama, they’ll nominate Clinton instead.

Really if it’s more than a 90 second segment in the regular evening news it’s too much. None of the interesting stuff that happens at conventions happens in front of the camera anyway, they’ve always made lousy TV. Back in the old days conventions were my chance to rediscover PBS.

How about the Goodyear Blimp for coverage of Camelot II?

I put my money on the old man.

I think moving to the stadium is going to prove to be a big mistake. How are they going to transport the delegates two miles? How many locals are going to be interested in going to hear political speeches?

I love it because they are going to have to pay a lot more money.

I hope it rains on the HOPE parade!

Yeah right, the biggest specticle since the Neuremburg rallies and the media isn’t going to cover it?
Get real.
I mean this is Partitag 2008, mass rallies, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a torch light parade.

With the two most mediocre candidates in my life running this time, (Yes, worse even than Michael Dukakis and Poppy Bush), I won’t waste a second on either convention.

By any chance are the Colorado Rockies playing at home one of those nights Obama plays to shift everything and move into the football stadium?

The Rockies probably could complaine loudly if not even sue the RATS for last minute scheulding of an event at a competing outdoor sports stadium during a home baseball game. Its one thing to hold a long scheduled indoor event of 19,000 out of towners, its another to go for a last minute 70,000 plus crowd in a nearby outdoor sports stadium.

the obamination had not a clue about the logistic and financial chaos the late switch in venue would entail.

Sounds like the Pepsi Center may be a big money looser as well.

Yep. He's got a great grasp on economics... The one thing you can always count on with Marxists is confusion.....I've an idea this convention is going to be fun to watch.

On The night of the Inveco Stadium Buffoon Show,
May there be The Blizzard of All Denver Blizzards,
Humongous Gullywasher Thunderstorms and Torrential RAINS
That Deluge the Stadium for Hours and Hours!:-)
