SODUS, NY--According to several police officers who wish to remain anonymous, it has become an unwritten policy of the Wayne County Sheriff's Office to not report illegal aliens to the U.S. Border Patrol when they are taken into custody.
On April 27th of this year, Juan Casarubia-Rendon, age 24, was stopped by Wayne County Sheriff's Deputies for numerous traffic violations. He was found to be highly intoxicated, with a blood alcohol level of .32%, four times the State threshold for vehicle operation. Juan had no license and no vehicle insurance, something that would have normally called for an arraignment for any other driver.
On April 27th, Juan Casarubia-Rendon was not arraigned. He was issued appearance tickets for Sodus Town Court and driven home by deputies.
Wayne County Sheriff Richard Pisciotti said he was unaware of any decision by road patrol deputies concerning giving breaks to illegal migrants. He said on Friday that his investigation would take several more days.
Wayne County District Attorney Rick Healy said he will recommend shock incarceration/probation ... due to the high level of intoxication of the defendant.

Welcome to LA.
PS: wait till one of them gets out of jail with no deportation and kills an innocent person.
What's that? The shock that they will go to jail like legal citizens instead of having their hand held?
ILLEGAL ENTRANTS?
Is that anything like illegal aliens, formerly know as criminals?
sounds like both the sheriff and DA need a little shock treatment as well.. like maybe , at the polling booth.
selective enforcement of the law is not a good thing. I know LEOs make a lot of decisions everyday but this is one that smells of ignorance and sheer indifference to public safety.
Wake me when they do report them to the U.S. Border Patrol.
I beleive the phrase you are looking for is “Undocumented Democrats”.
If I steal something form a store, why isn’t it excused as an ‘Undocumented purchase”?
Let’s run that one by Pelosi Galore and see what she thinks about it.

Duck and Cover.
Of course the officers are correct and the word has been put out to treat the illegals differently. But as is often the case in Government the higher ups will disavow any such direction and throw the street cops under the bus.........
Basically, it means the defendant gets a brief period of local jail time, often 'time served' or weekends, followed by standard probation: community service, counseling, etc.
Oh. Shortly after my post I thought maybe it meant tazing the suspect whether he/she was fighting back.
Not to mention the threat of being "investigated" if charges of "profiling" were ever floated. This stuff has a definite and deleterious effect on law enforcement, and, all the more satisfactory for the enemies of our country, those responsible for it are well insulated from any adverse consequences.
It must stink to be a cop these days. Arrest anybody and you risk getting charged with some offense against political correctness. (Unless you arrest a "typical white person", of cuss. But such perps are in relatively short supply.)
Who can blame them for wanting to hang out at the donut shop? (Or the gun store!)
This double standard of letting illegal aliens go without prosecution for their crimes (drunk driving, drug smuggling, etc.) opens up a lot of communities to civil rights violation charges by only prosecuting legal citizens. All animals are equal, clearly some are more equal than others.
It no longer pays to be a citizen. Plenty of non-citizens live here and are exempted from the laws of society.
It starts with illegal entry.
Then it continues with falsified identity.
Then it continues with social security fraud or tax evasion.
All of this is institutionalized.
Sounds like Mel Gibson needs to drive around with a Matricula Consular and a wig.
Next time I’m busted I’ll be sure to do a lot of ‘no comprende’ ‘si’ and ‘no’.
Just more of those folks with “family values” from south of the Rio Grande, just doin’ that DUI with no license and insurance that Americans won’t do. I gues the word is getting around in upstate NY that America no longer belongs to Americans and the law is acting accordingly.
