Thanks for the link. The Rassmann incident is exactly what I was referring to. There was an excellent MSM piece that told the story complete with graphics that backed the Swiftee's version. I want to say it was in the Washington Post.

I don't blame Rassmann. He fell out of the boat at the beginning of the fight and probably saw nothing and was scared to boot. Naturally, he felt great affection for the guy who fished him out and believed Kerry's BS about what happened. He was badly used by the Kerry campaign IMHO.
