Corruption is Killing Daytona Beach - When will it STOP?

Daytona Beach is dying a slow death due to widespread corruption and abuses in City Hall.

When will this stop?

The State Attorney, who shares a lot of the same campaign contributors that have caused many of the abuses, refuses to instigate an investigation in spite of the overwhelming evidence and multiple criminal complaints from citizens.

Corruption is going to be around for a long time and is now very socially acceptable — just look at our Congress. It permeates every level of government, and many corporations in America. Based on the outcome, to some extent, of the 2008 presidential election, we will either have a chance at reducing corruption, or we will fall into an abyss of corruption so deep, there will be no end.

Which party is in control? My guess, the same one that controls the other American cities in decline like Baltimore, DC, Detroit, New Orleans, NYC (yes, now that a liberal democrat is in power NYC is sliding back again), etc.

Volusia County keeps voting for DemocRATS, so they get what they ask for.

The DemocRAT PARTY IS A CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE. It caters to, cultivates, and feeds the worse impulses in people.

Clueless and dispicable mentalities are the base of that party.

Yup, they are DemokRATS. The funny thing is that their financers donate almost equally to them all to ensure the candy keeps coming. Of course, candy paid for by the taxpayers. This is the worst kind of organized crime, it’s organized crime under the umbrella of color of law.
