"There will be a Global Warming Score (based on greenhouse gas emissions from driving and fuel production)"
Shouldn't the agency FIRST have to prove that man is a significant factor in global warming/cooling before they CLAIM one care is better or worse in this regard?

Basically, they will; be a guide for eco-vandals to know which cars to trash in the name of AlGore.

Shoot if I knew the score for my 1997 Jeep Cherokee, inline 6 cylindar with a bad O2 sensor, I’d paint it on there myself.

The Number 1 at McDonald’s lists its calories at over 1800, people still buy it. This sticker will have the same effect.

I’ll be so glad when this fad passes, and I never ever need to hear the words “Green” or “Eco-” anything again.

For most people in California, driving a car is the number-one way they pollute" Unskilled labor running a worthless leaf blower consumes gas, emits toxic fumes, creates noise pollution, and doesn't REMOVE any debris (it only disperses it into the street or someone else's yard).

Smog Score (pretty much self-explanatory), I think they meant "Smug Score."

Ill be so glad when this fad passes, and I never ever need to hear the words Green or Eco- anything again. Remember the CLEAR fad of the 1990s? Clear detergents, clear colas, etc?

***********************************************************************************************
The last year for that fantastic in-line 6 - a great engine. I had one of those outstanding vehicles. It was RED with BLACK trim. I give it a 10+. I loved it but I had to trade it in for a big Suburban diesel to pull the mountains of West USA. I wish I had the Jeep back so I could pay $3.79 for gas rather than $4.85 for diesel.

Was it "Pepsi-Clear" or something like that? I just remember the Super Bowl commercial for it.
Man, that was a real success. :-)
I think that the backlash is starting. When the SNL commercials show up satirizing the green movement, we'll know that the fad is over.

both rated on a one-to-ten scale, with ten being the cleanestIf I bought a vehicle with a "10 sticker," I'd erase the "0" just to piss people off.

Shouldn't the agency FIRST have to prove that man is a significant factor in global warming/cooling before they CLAIM one care is better or worse in this regard? Shoot, if any governmental agency had to prove it's use, the unemployment rate in this country would jump about 5 percentage points from all the pointy-headed bureaucrats put out of work.

Unfortunately I think this one is going to be a long time passing and is going to cost yoou and I a fair amount of money and grief. And when the next Little Ice Age begins in a few years, they will just claim credit for having “stopped” global warming.

My bigass Suburban probably gets a 1. My 98 Z28 Camaro probably earns a 2.

I have an ‘07 crewcab 4x4 Silverado, a 76 CJ5 Jeep with V8 and a ‘94 Jeep Cherokee.............. All probably get pretty low ratings.
