Problem: The U.S. and Serbia are locked in a diplomatic battle over how to get Kovacevic back to upstate New York to face American justice.

Solution: Give them Gen. Wesley Clark, no security, no strings.

It amazes me that the most significant war action during the Clinton years was carried out against our Christian Serb allies in support of Muslim Albanian terrorists. Interesting flip side to say the least. The Serbs were not faultless but they were certainly not a threat to us and though their methods were harsh they are attempting to turn back the Muslim hoards who had a very bad habit of trying to institute Islamic law and burning churches and such. Kosovo is now reported to have become a hot bed of radicalism even after the US held the line for them.

Typical, all things considered, and wrong as always.

Now for the reality: Serbia disciplines diplomats accused of helping crime suspect flee US

"There was a fight and the Serbian guy was tougher,"

Pick on someone you know you can kill. The law of the jungle. Keep it out of the U.S. . We have enough home grown animals.

It was like this. Kovacevic was in bar and in that moment Steinhauer started to hit on his friends Sanel Softić (Bosnian Muslim) girlfriend Melissa Cartagena (US citizen). At one point Steinhauer grabbed Milissa`s as*. At that one, Kovacevic pushed away Steinhauer. Kovacevic‡ and his friends girlfriend turned away and in that moment Steinhauer hitted Kovačevic in the mack of the head. Kovacevic turned, and smacked Steinhauer twice, knocking him down, and continued to bet him up unconscious. In Balkans, you are obliged to protect your friends girlfriend or wife by your life, and grabbing girls as* is extremely offensive. Hitting someone in the back is considered an act of cowardliness and one that did that said "goodbye" to his life.

I suppose it would be too much to expect our State Dept. to deny visas to the people of countries that we bombed without provocation? There are still people in the world that don’t forget when their families, friends and neighbors were murdered.

Dragana Grujin, 30, said she hates Clinton for the devastation he brought to her country nine years ago.

I'd be pretty angry as well if a foreign president decided to bomb my country to get a sex scandal out of the news.

But Kovacevic's story isn't going away anytime soon. The U.S. and Serbia are locked in a diplomatic battle over how to get Kovacevic back to upstate New York to face American justice.

How about turn him over or we just start bombing?

There is a time and place for gunboat diplomacy.

Funny how it seems that you’re basically emphasizing Kovacevic being a Serb when his two buddies and co-defendants were both BOSNIAN MOSLEMS. Why haven’t you been emphasizing that?

The family definitely did the right thing getting their son out of that corrupt NY town. Given that so many people in NYS are imprisoned wrongly I would have done the same thing. The truth will eventually come out and will prove Kovačević innocent.
