The only thing that would cause them to turn is if he screws up and they have no choice. If he was 20 points behind McCain I think they would lash out but barring that, I doubt it would happen.

I could swear that Obama had once said “Remove the troops now” and nothing of the 16 months he now advocates. (who knows, maybe we won’t need to be there in 16 months anyway) Now, he is “refining” his policy once again.
My brother is going to vote for this clown, on this issue alone. It’s hard to beleive he can’t see the duplicity of this guy.
They might - the press critters can dish it out, but they are worst babies when the tide is turned - especially by someone whose boots they have been licking.
