BS. Same story as McCain - Obama is the same left-winger he was last year. Nothing done or said in the 6 months running up to an election means squat to me, it is all posturing, all calculated, all a ruse. I would not believe campaign talk (on its own) even if uttered under threat of death. Not from Obama, not from McCain, not from Barr, not from anyone. If their lips move, they lie (a sufficient, but not necessary, condition).

Politicians DO change, but not over a period of months. I am saddened by the fact that cheap rhetoric has such sway over people. It is PATHETIC. When campaign talk is in conflict with prior behavior, only a complete MORON would believe the talk. If you interviewed someone for a job, and their promises and supposed motivations were at odds with their record, which would you believe? Exactly.

Show me stuff that counts. How did they govern? How did they vote? What enemies have they made? Who are they indebted to? If they are fresh to public office, show me their opinions from before they started running for office, and their employment performance.
