It certainly wasn’t all Fred’s fault. Once he entered the race, the mainstream media worked overtime, sweating bullets, to ignore him.

Had Fred gotten into the Presidential race earlier and ran a more energized and spirited campaign, hed be our nominee. By now, you'd probably be seeing a number of cars with Thompson bumper stickers as well as a few yard signs. I've seen quite a few Obama bumper stickers, but have yet to see my first McCain bumper ticker.

I doubt it. There were too many good candidates who were considered conservative, and our votes were spread out thin among them. I think Fred would be a terrific nominee for the next member of the Supremes. ;o)
