Sorry Diana but I have to correct you. We are not a democracy but a democratic republic. Lots of difference between the two and the main reason we have the electoral college instead of majority vote.
Oh, yeah, sorry, forgot to mention I agree with you that we are the best country in the world, still. Rapidly losing it though and we need to be on our guard every minute.
Michael Moore is the prototype. If they actually believed in their principles they would have already moved to Cuba, Burma, North Korea or some other people's paradise. However, they stay here to inflict themselves on their neighbor or, in Moore's case, gain praise from their fellows by making a documentary film on their delusions.
For every rickity raft that floats up on our shores with people fleeing the very things these festering ingrtes hate about our country...
I say we hold those floatation devices up and load them up with our dregs and send them on their way...
