Your personal attacks against this woman really disturb me. He has given up lambasting the Graham's in public, and it HAS to go somewhere!

Not really an option. Have you ever read the First Amendment to the Constitution? Try it sometime.
To: Elsie
So, free speech is of the Devil? Elsie, you can’t really mean that.
To: Elsie
And the truth is that Sandra Tanner tried to shut down a harmless satire site because she has a swelled head.
WE CANNOT ALLOW THOSE EVIL MORMONS TO SPEAK FREELY!
Looks like her point of view won’t work here. Maybe Iran or Saudi Arabia.
To: Ray'sBeth
Then she should stop attempting to use the courts to abridge free speech. Her actions speak much louder than her kind words to you.
To: Elsie
WOW, Elsie, your precious Sandra Tanner files a SLAP suit and gets her head handed to her and you are quoting scripture. That’s progress.

I don’t know what others looked at, but I didn’t read a satire site at the addys the court said were not too close. The sites were composed to replace the Tanner’s refutations and promote Mormonism beliefs! Perhaps OMm is now saying Mormonism is satire?

Their work has been devastating to the LDS movement.

I know this is only personal experience, but people like the Tanners and you are only helping to expand the LDS Church.
Thanks for the help.

What FAIR did was downright dishonest.
I'm rather surprised that YOU posted this. If I were still a Mormon I would have been embarrassed by what FAIR did.

I guess you think it is alright for the anties to do it.
Just yahoo Mormon, or LDS, or any other name God's church is known by and there are loads of similar sounding names that lead to anti sights.
sounds like........................

Zakeet: [The Tanner's]
work has been devastating to the LDS movement.Fred: I know this is only personal experience, but people like the Tanners and you are only helping to expand the LDS Church.
Fred, how can you justify that claim?
Among other things, the Tanners:
- Uncovered the Roberts manuscript wherein the LDS Church's own historian concluded Joseph Smith plagiarized a book titled A View of the Hebrews when writing the Book of Mormon
- Published the LDS Temple Ceremony for the first time, exposing its Masonic roots and Satanic practices
- Renounced Mark Hofmann's Salamander Letter (wherein Joseph Smith purportedly received the First Vision from an elf disguised as a salamander) as a fraud at the same time the LDS Church was paying Hofmann money to buy and then hide the document
- Documented thousands of changes to the Book of Mormon and Docrtine and Covenants
- Documented dozens of contradictions in Mormon scripture -- wherein one sacred writing impeaches another
- Documented thousands lies, changes and distortions in Mormon Church history -- exposing problems such as Joseph Smith's sexual perversions, the Zion Camp Expedition, Blood Atonement, the Danites, and the Mountain Meadows Massacre
- Documented and explained dozens of critical problems with Mormonism's past such as Joseph's translation of the Book of Abraham, and the Kinderhook Plates
- Disclosed the racist history and practices of the LDS Church, helping force the Church into changing key doctrine
- Exposing some of Mormonism's more bizarre and blasphemous beliefs (to Christians) such as Kolob, exaltation, the Adam-God doctrine, and God having physical sex with Mary
- Amassing a vast body of research refuting virtually every claim made by Mormonism
- Publishing their research in over 40 books and on their internet website in a manner whereby anybody can access this information and study the errors of Mormonism
- Etc.
Bottom line: I can't see where any of that helps the Latter Day Saint Movement. Can you?If so, please explain how.
Thanks.

Just my knowing people who, like me, started by trying to prove God's Church wrong, only to find that it is true.
And
others who had their first experience with what you folks do.

If you've got evidence, present it.
If you've got nothing more than a burning in the bosom, admit it.

I wonder if I were to make a parody site of FARM or FAIR whether you would think it appropriate? The suit was about Constitutionally, not eappropriatness.

They are/were very good at taking a quote out of context. In 1999, the Tanners were asked by the LDS Church to remove the 17 pages of the LDS Church handbook the Tanners had posted on their website. The Tanners refused and the LDS church sued. Its a matter of copyright laws. Only, maybe it isnt for us members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints What kind of religion hides its beliefs?
Anyway, its all over wikileaks now.
To: Zakeet
LOL...
They are doing so well they are having to move their expansion efforts overseas more and more...
And that is from a former Member...

I’ve read a great deal of the Tanner’s material. They don’t use subterfuge and trickery to make thier case against Mormonism. They use Mormonism itself, it’s teachngs and it’s history.
So, Mormons register every domain that even has any passing resemblance to Lighthouse Ministries, and make it a parody of the ULM website.
Looks like Mormonism can’t defend itself from the truth, so they use subterfuge to hide.
Nice.
