I like Bob, but retirement may be an option down the road.

House Appropriations Committee Chairman David Obey (D-Wis.) shut down the entire appropriations process to protect Democrats from having to vote on oil drilling.

SON OF A B....!

I'm really sick of these stupid political games. DRILL NOW!

I would venture that the lack of GOP enthusiasm is directly tied to the candidate at the head of the ticket.

The Dems aren’t demoralized, and never will be. It’s imposable to be demoralized if you have no morals.

If a Republican were running, I’d feel better. Maybe we can ask John McCain if he knows one.

Demoralized Republican votes count just as much as foaming-at-the-mouth Democrat votes. Its quantity, not enthusiasm, that counts.

This isn’t a caucus ... Obama cannot do to McCain what he did to Clinton, and win based solely on his Jim-Jones-like hold over his followers.

Hey Bob and Tim, I’m NOT demoralized.

I’m thoroughly pissed off and wish the pubs would grow a pair and get out front on NObama and the energy problem.

Demoralized? No. Apathetic. Yes. Resigned to four years of a liberal incompetant no matter who wins, absolutely.

But demoralized to me implies I’m without hope. I’m not without hope. For ‘12. Maybe ‘10. But not for this election because they offer no hope, only incentive to put my money where they can’t get to it and do what is necessary to survive and fight again either one of them. I’m just sitting back and waiting to see which one it’ll be.

The truth is there remains voter resistance to Obama that to some degree is based on race.

I don't like statements like the above. How about using a statement like: 'some degree of inexperience' instead?

The truth is there remains voter resistance to Obama that to some degree is based on race.

What about those who vote for Obama because of his race, e.g., Obama pulled more than 90% of the black vote against Hillary. Equating opposition ["resistance"] to Obama because of race is a canard. Novak is up to his old tricks.
