If the GOP nominates a slice of pizza in Staten Island, it'll beat the Democrat.
Okay, maybe that's a slight exaggeration (you might need the whole pie), but you get the point.

They will of course agree on a candidate and when the candidate is announced and the election race commences this seat will remain Republican. It will not even be close.

The GOP nominee here is a guy named Bob Straniere. He used to be my Assemblyman. He left in 04. Before that he NEVER won with less than 68% and most often won with 70% or more over 22 years. He is an Italian Jew. He will appeal to voters as a known quantity and if he runs an aggressive populist race ( he has nothing to lose after all, he can win. McCain will be barack mcgovern 70/30 on Staten Island. Yes we should be kissing this seat good bye, but let's not pucker up just yet. The rat has a primary out here. If the sane rat wins, B-mac will be hanging around his neck like a burning tire. If the loony leftist wins he will willingly join B-mac in every leftist position. We probably won't win, but we certainly can win.
