Burns Hargis, I used to respect you but now I believe that you should be drummed out of the Republican Party, and perhaps, tarred and feathered in effigy.
You're no conservative, you nanny stater. How dare you presume to think you know what's best for other people? Stay out of people's legal, private lives.
Good Grief! What's happened to the Republican Party?
I will never watch another tv show that you particpate in, I will never vote nor contribute money for you if you run for office, I will never go to OSU, I will never knowingly spend money where that money might go to OSU.
It's hard to believe that I might now respect the Democrat Mike Turpin more than I do you.
Signed,
A cousin of Mike Turpin and son's deceased body trainer.

Clean & healthy?
While corrupting heads full of mush with Marxist Socialist ideas?
Yes sir! That's the ticket.

and perhaps, tarred and feathered in effigy. Why "in effigy"?

You are deceased? ;^)
Agree about Hargis. Probably shows why he never got far in Oklahoma politics.

You’ll have to excuse me for being gone for a while now, I have to go to school.

sigh (no energy left for outrage)
My wife and I (and our older brothers) graduated from OSU many years ago. While none of us are smokers, this is sad.
At least they haven’t outlawed bear! That’s what keeps the local Stillwater economy going. Although they did whack that pretty good a few years back when the drinking age was raised from 18 to 21 (bet that stopped the freshmen from drinking!).

What about a Farting Ban.

"We think it's a very minor inconvenience to those that want to continue smoking, he said. "It's not like we're cutting their leg off. Why is it even necessary in the first place?
So campus liberals won't be disturbed by the knowledge that someone, somewhere is smoking a cigarette?
It's much less of an inconvenience to simply look away when someone else is smoking. Why not adopt that as the school policy instead?

Below is a comment by a person on the news site. Could someone here possibly explain this to me? I just don't think this it is possible.
"...but after a day of classes I still smelled like a bar because there was a swarm of smokers around every door..."

Here's another comment. Again, how is this possible? Can someone please explain?
"I went back to the campus last year for homecomming and I got my lungs full of smoke from some idiot student walking in front of me at the walk around."

"It sets a strong example and a consistent example of our commitment to be a healthy and attractive campus. So where's the homosexuality ban? I mean that's only one of the worst voluntary lifestyle choices a man can make that will shorten his life expectency by almost 35 years.
