It's still okay to fight RATS.

Bob Dole has really been free with his words lately. I like it. I miss the old days when our worst complaint was Dole, at least he was Conservative, even if he wasn’t perfect.

I like it too....good ‘ole PLAIN SPEECH. My guess is that Dole also knows that Gen. Clark was *forced* into retirement from the military on May 2, 2000.

Good on Bob but the silence from our current crop of Republicans is deafening. When Bob Dole is out front on message, you have serious, serious problems. The republican campaign oozes incompetence. The RATs, damn them, show ability to work the message, right down to the execrable Jim Webb telling McCain to calm down. I had to
wrap my head with duct tape after hearing that one.
This situation is pathetic

Obviously several published thoughts short of a Presidency.
I dont know it he would have made a good president, we will never know. However, I hope he keeps up his barbs against idiocy. ;-)

Where was this Bob Dole in 96? You need only recall how many days the MSM spent on Dole's reference to the Brooklyn Dodgers, to know that he could never have gotten that kiond of message out.

It's about time someone talked straight about this. I'll go one further. not only is Clark an absolute politcal lackey and hatchet man, who has used his own service for completely self serving and political ends, we have in Obama the furthest thing from the trasitional meaning of a patriot.
He has shown by his own positions and his own willful associations of many years that he is an anti-American militant and an abject marxist. Neither of those could ever qualify him to be referred to as a patriot, I will not lessen the meaning of that word, or subject the absolute selfless service and sacrifice of real patriots by equating the likes of Obama to them.

Has anyone heard McCain reacting to this stuff in a nutty way? I haven’t. Webb must be projecting his own mentally disturbed personality on this issue. The guy is one strange duck, and he has a pistol permit as well. He should be the Dems poster boy for gun control.

Dole's comment omits one important point:
Ashley Wilkes is an arrogant jackass.

Good for Dole. Clark is a Clintoon trying to survive an Obama ride. Good luck with all that.

First the letter to Scott Mcbackstabber and now this. Looks like Dole’s found his second wind!

Ashley Wilkes is an arrogant jackass. My opinion is, whether Ashley realizes it yet or not, he shot himself in the foot on Sunday and dashed any hopes of being Baraq Hussein The Patriot Obama's VP.
He may become VP of Kooks at MoveOn.org or Daily KOokS though.
To: Jeff Head
Jeff, those are some excellent sentences. You pack a lot of whollop in a few words. Excellent post.
