Note From AOL: Our weekly survey was restarted again on Friday, June 27 at 11AM ET. We will be launching a new version of this poll shortly that includes third-party presidential candidates.
Weird, usually the left is far better at slewing online polls though.
In the case of Obama, I think a lot of people being polled are saying they support Obama simply because they're afraid if they don't the poll-taker will think they're a racist.
Those people won't have to worry about anyone's opinion of their vote in the privacy of the ballot box.
Otherwise knows as “The Bradley Effect”...
Very good indicator the poll is a crock .
Putting aside the so-called “Bradley effect”, I really do think there are a lot of the pissed off Hillary supporters out there that will not vote for BO. I saw one interviewed (she started the website: clintons4mccain.com) that was very articulate, passionate and reasoned in why she would never vote for Obama — — he is an empty suit with no experience. Further, a lot of Obama supporters are juvenile, snide and arrogant and have really turned off a lot of these Clinton supporters. I do not think we are done eating popcorn yet...
This is funny. McCain is ahead in the entire East Coast.
The priest at the biggest church in town is telling parishioners that their decision to vote needs to be based on whether or not the candidates support Same Sex Marriage and Abortion.
He then states that a Catholic should not support or vote for anyone who supports Abortion the murder of the defenseless unborn.
According to the poll B-HO is winning only in D.C. ...and it says 50%/50%, so the lead isn’t by much.
I have this crazy feeling that McCain is going to win in a landslide. I can’t wait to hear what Bob Beckel will say, assuming this does happen. He’s been on H&C and other shows claiming that McCain doesn’t have a chance.
According to this poll McCain is winning in Illinois...LOL Though this poll is more accurate than Newsweek.
Anyone have the results of the latest Gallup tracking poll?
Dial-up vs. high-speed poll.
For whatever reasons ( demographics? ) the AOL poll seems to be skewed in favor of the Republicans:

I do think that McCain is actually ahead, but not by this much.
McCain strongest:
Louisiana 77%
Mississippi 77%
Tennessee 72%
South Carolina 72%
Texas 71%
Oklahoma 71%
Obama strongest:
DC 50%
Vermont 49%
North Dakota 47%
Hawaii 46%
New York 45%
Iowa 45%
LOL... 62-38
The only “Blue State” is DC.
