I approach Divine Design like a college course in Retirement Dream Home, since Mr. X and I are moving ever closer to that day when we will buy the last place and make it our little nest forever. Candace and the crew are entertaining to watch, but the real appeal for me is how they can take a mundane space and turn it into a palace. Yesterday, a young pro hockey player had his basement redone, and it was just stunning. I learn alot from her designs and figure to put all that knowledge to use in designing my own home in the not so distant (another birthday this week!) future. Funny that there is not one single show on the rest of my digital cable lineup that is so entertaining. Now, if only there was a way to get Candace to come onboard. She ain't exactly Design on a Dime, but it'd be worth it!
