Those SOB’s took my late uncles farm. One one hand it makes me sad because I still have family there and they are suffering. It makes me sad to see the ruin that has become of a once prosperous nation. On the other hand I curse them, and wish nothing but plague and famine for the evil they have brought to good people.

I can't imagine why any sane white man would stay in that s**thole, much less keep his wife and children there. There is nothing left to salvage. It's Lord of the Flies meets Atlas Shrugged.

Yet another African success story. The Western liberals who pushed for and protected Mugabe the Marixt must feel very proud. Don’t be surprised if he gets a standing O at the next African summit meeting.

And they wonder why there’s famine in Zimbabwe.

I remember reading somewhere that virtually every major famine of the 20th century was caused by Marxists, either through malfeasance or through malice. Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, China (several times), Ethiopia (several times), Cambodia, Somalia, North Kora, and now Zimbabwe. That list right there probably accounts for 40-50 million dead at the low end.

Imagine if such a thing were to happen here. We feed about half the world.

No, not much of a chance. See my aunt had her passport stolen. The “authorities” say she sold it, and she needs to find it. Since they are refusing to issue her any documents, she is effectively stuck. Fortunately for her one her daughters has a business suppling hotels with food and other supplies. They make sure she has enough to eat. As for the rest, they fled to New Zealand.

I've often thought about trying to find a way to get her out, but she was born in Rhodesia, and has lived there her whole life. As bad as it is, I feel like she would rather stay than leave the place she knows as home.

I think they will achieve just that.

Newsweek must be desperate for sales - they are printing the truth.

Such a thing may very well happen hear...It's big government socialism that is currently diverting a significant portion of the food supply to energy production, at exactly a time when there has been tremendous weather related damage to crops, which has led to historic lows in grain stockpiles.

Exactly. A lot are coming around now, but the Left has spent a long time in their delusional dream that Mugabe is some sort of savior.

They're stunningly stupid.

Freeth says he has every intention of returning to his farm.

While I feel for these people, and I recognize how difficult it is to abandon the savings of a lifetime, staying in Zimbabwe is an incredibly stupid move for any white person.

In fact, the only real cure for what has happened there, other than military action, would be a total boycott of Zimbabwe by all other nations. Even if we couldn't get a complete boycott, all of the predominantly white nations should join in.

20 or 30 years of complete isolation might let the contagion die out...

What good would that do? They have a left-imposed self boycott - they producing nothing so have nothing to export.

I would salt the landand then become a criminal preying upon these scum. Then again, I am well armed and would have company. Me and a few well trained good friends would happily take on and slaughter groups of these thugs 5 times our size - and win.

Gee, second post tonight that probably earns me a spot in H#ll. Oh well...
