Still waiting to see enough blowback on Obambi — the fact that the Clark/Beers attacks were obviously coordinated with the timing of Obambi’s speech on patriotism today makes me suspect that it’s a very conscious campaign strategy by Axelrod and friends. Obambi tries to emerge above the fray, a “uniter” and “healer” (gag, puke) while surrogates from both campaigns duke it out. I don’t think we’ll be seeing any more disavowal from Obambi than what he’s already said. Meanwhile the remarks of Clark and Beers are out there in the media.

Agreed. The timing of the patriotism speech with the Clark/Beers tag team sideshow stinks.

Caught a small portion of a segment on CNN tonight with Anderson Cooper saying both Obama and Axelrod had disavowed Clark’s comments. James Carville was his sputtering, serpenty self, saying Clark had nothing to apologize for. Bill Bennett was his usual laid back self and told Carville to ask Axelrod to explain it to him.
