Dear General Clark,
I am copying you on this piece, which I am posting to several blogs to which I write, because I dont need to say behind someones back what I wont say to his face. Furthermore, I added the word sickening in the subject line for those blogs. Per Clark hits McCains military credentials at http://news.yahoo.com/s/politico/20080629/pl_politico/11425, you said
I certainly honor his service as a prisoner of war. He was a hero to me and to hundreds of thousands and millions of others in the armed forces, as a prisoner of war, he added that these experiences in no way qualify McCain to be president in his view:
He has been a voice on the Senate Armed Services Committee. And he has traveled all over the world. But he hasnt held executive responsibility. That large squadron in the Navy that he commanded that wasnt a wartime squadron, Clark said.
I dont think getting in a fighter plane and getting shot down is a qualification to become president.

You’re right, McVeigh was a Desert Storm veteran. My mistake.
He still isn't worthy to wipe McCain's butt.
What country did Wesley Clark serve for?
I to am concerned that Clark would say such things about McCain, who served with great honor. I am happy to see the uproar here.
However, I am surprised that there was not a similar uproar when John Kerry, who also served honorably, was attacked and lied about by the swift boaters.
I can’t believe you would all have a double standard?
I can't believe you signed on just to say that!
Thanks...

I bet you’re really “concerned” about that.
The difference is that the Swift Boat veterans didn’t lie.
Kerry’s service wasn’t particularly distinguished, since rice grains in the buttcheek don’t usually make you eligible for Purple Hearts(self-inflicted wound, by the way), and Kerry used that in order to get himself out of service he volunteered for(breaking his word). Then, once he was home, he dishonored the service of every man who served in VN(one of whom was my late father) by participating in the Winter Soldier farce and by his unapproved meeting with the enemy in Paris, while still being in the military. Not to mention supposedly chucking the aforementioned medals over the fence. His conduct after his rather short combat service was despicable, as has been his political career since. His speeches about his service have been a tapestry of lies (”Seared, seared into my memory”)revealed largely by those Swift Boat Veterans whom you decry. They have done this country a great service.
Bump 47- I’ve been looking for that image.
What did the Swiftboaters lie about?
That’s right, and did you know that President Nixon ordered Lt. John F’n Kerry and his gun boat on a secret mission running CIA operatives to Cambodia on Christmas Eve of ‘68? Said so himself. Gotta be true.

Lots of questions about your post. What’s the matter, does the cat have your tongue?
When you sleep with dogs you get fleas.
Clark’s comments where staged and this whole thing seems a little to convenient to me for 2 reasons. One, it eliminates any Kerry/Swift Boating allegations and the baggage that goes with it. Two, Obamas answer was canned and attempted to promote his patriotism and nothing more.
Calling Wesley Clark a General is like calling Jeremiah Wright a Reverend. Both are a joke. Obamas cronies continue to create a vast damage path that is being dressed up by the liberal media. Its like he is the Teflon Allah, nothing sticks to him.
I'd like to point out that Clark's 0-6 command ALSO was not a combat command: brigade command at Fort Carson in 1986. He commanded the 3rd Brigade, 4th Infantry there from April 1986 to March 1988
Clark went on to the rank of general.
McCain went on to the rank of Senator.
Sorry, Wesley, but John outranks you.
Traitor Kerry denigrated his service himself and trashed other Vietnam Veterans to Congress after returning from Vietnam. Kerry trashed Vietnam Veterans and they remembered on election day. It is that simple.
