Newt for McCain Vice President ----- Put him In Charge of Energy Independence and Drill Now Push
June 30, 2008 | Mitchell001

I suggest that John McCain pick Newt Gingrich for Vice President and that he announces that Newt will be in charge of US Energy Independence and Drill Now push. This would be a very clear signal and statement to the electorate that McCain means business with respect to getting American Solutions (Newt's organization) into the mainstream of American government.

Yeah, then he can do the great follow-up job he did with the Contract with America.

All sizzle, then fizzle. That’s Newt.

Will he sign a no-female-interns pledge?

Ditto that, we need someone who really represents the future direction of the GOP, not the ineffective past. Someone who brings Reagan’s ideals with the ability to reach out to younger generations and properly sell Conservatism. Newt served his purpose.

Newt sold out on his core beliefs many years ago so he could attain power and fame.

Seems to me that he did get each item on the Contract with America up for a vote. Isn't that what the contract stated??

Newt is too polarizing - his day for the top slots is past.

That said, McC should announce he would be his pick for energy czar...

No his is not, he has said to the envirocrazies “ what would do you do to solve this problem?” They then show themselves as: A) Not having a clue and B) In favor of an agenda the would destroy our sovereignty and economy.
