That is certainly sufficient grounds to arrest is there is evidence of injury. Even if she ‘started’ it. That is for the courts.
If he showed signs of assault, she may or may not be arrested. If they have kids at home, they would likely leave her there until it is sorted out.
I’m sure this is the AZ Republicans fault somehow. They probably treated this man so poorly in the legislature that he finally snapped and his wife was the unlucky victim. <./dripping sarcasm>

It seems to be an old story (last week) and he also seems to have screwed up the Primary race for his seat. He announced he is resigning.
The seat might revert back to the R’s
