why does Obama’s in the lower lefthand corner say OHBM 1.1 while the “real” other one say OHSM 1.1?

The known real certificates use OHBM = OFFICE OF HEALTH STATUS MONITORING. This is the department that processes the requests for bitth certificates.

Check out the "official Obama site" and KOS site to see if their Obama BC says the same. I've got a copy of Obama's BC and it has " OHSM 1.1"

The LASER form was revised November 2001 (11/01), so:

1) I don't think there were LASER printers in 1961, and

2) This HAS to be a certified COPY of his 1961 birth certificate, so

3) WHERE IS THE ORIGINAL?

4) Does that mean that the posted birth certificate is "fake but accurate"?

This sounds like a 2008 version of Dan Rather's fake documents on a Remington typewriter. In this case, there were no LASER forms in 1961.

Again I ask: WHERE IS THE ORIGINAL?!?!?!?!

On my latest blog post, I confirm, 100%, that the image posted on the Daily Kos was modifed by Adobe Photoshop CS3 on a Mac running OS 2.0, and saved at 8:42am on June 12th.

It confirms what I discovered two weeks ago...that the text on the image was produced by a graphics program and not by any type of printer!
