Oops
And you seem like an acrimonious putz, lashing out like that for no reason.
You thunk right.
Liberals ban things. Rush would be one of them if they had the power. Ban on cell phone use (July 1, 2008) in a car without a ‘hands-free’ device. Ban on beer at the lake. Every time you turn around they’re banning something. Conservatives who favor bannings are simply liberals at heart.
Yet another hate-filled, not talent hack.
I certainly don't hate Limbaugh, I find him very entertaining.
But he's a radio actor, not an authority on anything or a source of wisdom.
What I can't stand is watching otherwise intelligent people fawning over his
every utterance and swooning with glee every time he strings together a few words.
It's embarrassing.
Rushbo is the most talented voice on conservative talk radio in the U.S.. Conservatives are fortunate to have him ... he has set the record straight, meaning he has helped enormously, in counter balancing the extreme liberal bias that's so pervasive in the MSM today.
I note that the account has now been closed, deservedly so.
Correct. Hannity I believe coined that one for Mark Levin, though Rush may also call himself that. I was using it in reference to Mark Levin.
I rarely listen to Rush due to my schedule.
Feel free to do so, key words can be added to any thread by anyone. To be honest, I posted it rather quickly, as I was leaving.
Interesting.
Rush has received special protection here at FR for as long as I remember.
I like that.
I posted this thread, then left for the evening and have just now returned. I am not sure if that comment was meant to include my lack of response to Humblegunner, but believe me, had I been here, I would have had some very choice words for the guy.
But others have responded appropriately.
Funny thing is the guy ASSUMED my comment was in reference to Rush, he was wrong on that and wrong on many other things.
The thing that annoyed me about Russert apparently endeared him to the endless parade of eulogists: his constant injections of family references, rooting for his favorite sports teams, etc., into his MTP broadcasts.
Did any of the old time greats of radio/tv (Morrow, Cronkite, etc.) ever pull that crap?
Let’s hope his replacement is more professional.
(This is, BTW, a relatively minor gripe.)
Things are not always as they seem, grasshopper.
Do you really think that disrespecting a radio actor is grounds for banning someone?
Further, it is considered polite to ping folks you are talking about.
Carry on.
It is considered polite to ping folks you are talking about.
You have words? Let's have 'em.
Ditto
Wow. Where did I say that or is that just another assumption on your part?
Your post #10 direct a couple of very snide comments at me, in the first sentence. Those immature comments were based on your error in that you assumed I had been listening to Rush.
To be honest with you I see no point in discussing this with you since you have a habit of throwing out insults at people based on you assumptions, which have been demonstrated to be wrong.
Also, why would you ever be on the side (as you seem to be here) of a person who would wish someone dead for merely expressing their opinion?
Things are not always as they seem, grasshopper.
I clicked on your profile. It reads "account banned". It seems you did that as an attempt at humor.
