What has happened to New Hampshire, the Granite State, proud supporter of the American revolutionary spirit over two hundred years ago?
Why are school children forced to “bow to the altar of multiculturalism” as they did at the Amherst Middle School when kids had to celebrate something called “Open Tent Day” by parading around the school dressed as Saudi Arabians, according to pcblogspot.com.?
The local newspaper, the Milford Cabinet, reported that this exercise was designed to “encourage participants to reach out and learn from people around the world, and to promote curiosity and cultural understanding.”
The paper noted that students had to choose a traditional Arabic name for their name badge, and fill out an “actual Saudi customs form, which warned in bold letters, ‘Death for Drug Trafficking,’ at the top.”
While the seventh grade boys, resplendent in their “long plaid kilts, white shirts and turbans,” presided over the food tables and Arabic dancing, the girls were relegated to hosting the “hijab and veil stations” and teaching each other how to “wear the required head covering and veils.”

Amherst officials are looking down the road when all of America will be islamicized (like France) so they want to start teaching the young early. (sarc)

This is grass roots ‘Stockholm syndrome’ style appeasement. Liberals base their lives on emotional responses, and there are few emotions stronger than fear. This is physical fear that has progressed to the point of modulated hysteria; these people are in a state of panic. It’s pathetic.

PC should be a MAJOR campaign issue. Virtually everyone I know, Democrats included, hate it.
A vote for the Democrats is a vote for PC and that should be the message, rather than just accepting it and bitching about it. It’s not going to change until we vote the jerks out who preside over it or tolerate it.

I was being sarcastic because I’m sure the Amherst school officials would be delivering the bloody “diversity” speech as a rebuttal.
Actually, I’m not so sure this was a bad thing, especially for American girls. I’m not so sure they will come away with respect for that culture. Of course, the quickest way to stop all this is to point out its inherent value as aversion therapy.
These are the morons that make their living educating other peoples’ kids.
Get your kids and your grandkids out of public school. Seriously.
Known as one that did not play well with teachers and school administrators I would have loved my teachers to try this garbage.
I would have given them a lessen in what a real Saudi was like..........

At some point people have to realize that they are way smarter than the nitwits manning the public schools. It shouldn't be that way, but it is.
When you realize that the people educating your kids have no respect at all for you, when that day finally dawns on you, you should drop what you are doing and go get your kids. There are alternatives. Grandparents may have to help, but there are alternatives.
Actually Amherst is pretty conservative. However the schools are run by Marxists.
Hey, did they make the girls bow down to the boys, and walk 10 steps behind? Did they tell the boy they could beat up the girls if they took their veils off? I mean, if the purpose is to understand other cultures, at least do it right.
