The Wii is a toy.
the PS3 is an unbeliveable piece of machinery.
Give me a break.
I bought it thinking i was still into games. the multi-media aspect is what i ended up using. It plays almost all formats, if i’m too lazy to burn or copy i just stream wirelesly from my pc to the ps3.
Sony “Home” which will be out soon is about to tranform millions of losers into on-line zombies.
Oh yea, Wii is a nice “toy” but please. PS3 games now and in the future completely blow it away.

You ask why are the Huge game companies making the incredible games that work best on the ps3?
Because the PS3 is the best machine to play them!!

Look at sales charts, Sony has sold a crapload of machines this year, and while people start realizing the 360 is actually the failed product expect a hell f a lot more sales to come.

I got both the Wii and the PS3 when they came out.
The Wii is okay, I guess, if I could get Wii Fit I might actually turn it on. But the PS3 is the real deal. No comparison for games or blu-ray movies or anything else, and it’s only going to get better.
People who don’t have both, side-by-side, may not be able to make an informed comparison. If they did they’d understand the superiority and future-orientation of the PS3 much better.

Meh. I still like the Atari 2600. Thirty years old but there are still new games being written for it.
Look at the larger picture, they're both toys. The PS3 has great games with great graphics and does multimedia incredibly well, but you just haven't had crazy fun on a console unless you've played Wario or Rayman on the Wii. And the new Mario is as ground-breaking as was Mario 64.
