I’m so glad to be finally able to contribute something on this topic, since I’ve found so much good material here in the past.
The ice core information is wrong. The link below is to a paper by Dr. Zbigniew Jaworowski called C02: The Greatest Scientific Scandal of Our Time, which sets out the whole sorry background to the deliberate and ideology driven global warming scare, including the fact that direct measurements of CO2 levels in the atmosphere over the past two centuries were totally ignored because they showed much greater fluctuations than the preconceived levels, with readings of up to 500 ppm at times. The manipulations involved in getting the desired results are truly scandalous. What is even more scandalous is that this information is not on the front page of every newspaper.

Glassman only wrote one of the articles I posted (THE ACQUITTAL OF CARBON DIOXIDE). The several on solar activity were done by other people.
If this isn’t another outright Liberal lie, then it’s just the logical conclusion of the retreat of the ice age again. The sun goes warm and cool in cycles, causing the earth’s atmosphere to do the same.
This basic truth is beyond the comprehension of Al Gore and the Goreheads among us.

It the single most powerful thing in our “solar” system and the eggheads ignore its weight.

On the acquittal of C02...
All life on this planet is “Carbon Based”
If it walks or breaths or crawls it emits C02.
Plants breath C02 and emit 02 but when they die and decay as the leaves do in fall, they emit C02, as do all things living or dying on this planet.
The global “WARNING!” scientists would have you believe that one of the very fundamental elements of life will result in our undoing.
I really think you should read it, at least the one about the sun’s role. Because the main arguments being made for a solar connection to climate is more to do with the sun’s magnetic cycles, not so much with changes in energy output.
