I have never seen open borders to be anything other than a threat to a nation’s sovereignty. I agree with your comments about our southern border, and the politicians who support it.

I want the right in the U.S. to oppose such measures with all their might. If McCain proposes it, many on the right will back the effort out of mistaken party loyalty.
I agree that a North American Union and even an AU is on the table in the short term. I think McCain will sign on to both of these ideas and I am dead set against them.
I don't see any true conservative politicians with any power in the US right now that the right can go to. Maybe a crisis will bring one to the front.....but I don't have hope.

I see Israel hitting Iran's nuke facility soon. That will cause Iran to prod that duffus in Damascus (Assad) to hit Israel. Assad will mistakenly hit Israel hard, possibly killing thousands. Israel will nuke Damascus (Isaiah 17,1) and suffer world wide condemnation for their action. This will bring about a world wide call for a final peace treaty effort between the Arabs and Israel. But the Arabs, smarting from their humiliations (Iran's nukes/Damascus) will only pretend to agree to this peace. Israel will falsely assume this is real peace and let their defenses down. At that time, a confederation of Iran (Persia), Russia (Gog/Magog), Libya and others will attack defenseless Israel (see Ezekiel 38). The peace treaty is the beginning of seven years of hell on earth before Jesus returns to put an end to this madness. But GLORY TO GOD there is hope for born again CHRISTIANS! See Isaiah 26: 19-22, this is the Rapture and Great Tribulation in three verses. Notice the Rapture (Isaiah 26:20)is timed to happen before GOD's wrath. GOD's wrath is Israel's salvation in Ezekiel 38:18. So the Rapture happens somewhere between the signing of the 7 year peace treaty and Ezekiel 38.
